You may be eligible to have your SNAP benefits replaced if you lost food during the recent storms.
If you are a SNAP recipient and lost food purchased with SNAP (food stamps) during the recent storms because of a power outage of 4 hours or more, flood, or other property damage, you may be eligible for replacement benefits.
You must report the loss to your local DFCS office and complete a Food Loss Replacement Form (841) within 10 days of the loss.
