Atlanta Legal Aid Society, Inc.
Who We Are
Atlanta Legal Aid Society, Inc. gives free civil (non-criminal) legal services to low-income people in Clayton, Cobb, DeKalb, Fulton, and Gwinnett counties.
Getting help from Atlanta Legal Aid depends on your household income and the type of legal problem you have.
Atlanta Legal Aid can help with legal representation, brief services, help with self-help, legal advice, and referrals.
We can make special accommodations for disabled people and do home visits for the homebound. We also have a TDD number for the hearing impaired, and use the Georgia Relay Center. We also provide a Spanish Telephone Line: (404)377-5381
Because of limited resources, Atlanta Legal Aid cannot take each eligible client’s case. We review each case in a timely manner and try to provide some assistance or referral to every client.
